Benjamin was the guy we would meet more than often in the streets of South Tel Aviv. The guy who once offered us a cigarette at the door of his studio. The tall guy with the French accent and the sharp style.
Benjamin was our friend. Our student.
Our classmate.
Our assistant.
Our partner.
Our neighbor.
Our colleague.
Our photoshoot model.
Our gallery protégé.
Benjamin is the artist we remember.
Ensemble means together in French. It’s a collection of objects, considered as an object in its own right. It’s any moment two voices or more come together. Ensemble is the collective exhibition of 60 artists who united to honor a fellow. The money raised during this fundraiser show will be awarded to the artistic community: either to an artist or a specific project. Each year, the Benjamin Mecz Foundation, powered by the Keren BaKtana organization, will support the arts and give back to the creative community.
